Introduction
January 1st, 2012
Join me, Jerry W. Lindsey, for another episode of “Our Blessed Hope”. On this episode, I reintroduce myself and the “Our Blessed Hope” podcast. It has been almost one full year since my last episode, mostly because of my health. However, I was not idle in planning for the future of this podcast. On this episode, I explain where I have been and where I intend on taking this podcast for future episodes. If you have been a long time listener, this podcast was intended for you, as a way of explaining why there will be major changes in the format of future episodes.

Zechariah Chapter 14
February 13th, 2011
Join me, Jerry W. Lindsey, as I finally complete our study through the book of Zechariah. In today’s episode we complete our journey of Zechariah, as we go verse by verse through chapter 14, the last and final chapter of this wonderful book in God’s word. Also in this episode, I completed our discussion on the five “Doctrines of Grace” . The final doctrine being discussed in this episode was “The Perseverance of the Saints”. Finally, I also shared some exciting news on today‘s show, on the new format we will begin using for future installments of “Our Blessed Hope”. “Our Blessed Hope” has now reached an audience that has gone out across the globe, far further than we could have ever imagined. And so, with this thought in mind, we plan to launch an entire new format coming (Lord willing) next episode. Listen to today’s show, as I fill you in on all of the above mentioned items.

Zechariah Chapter’s 12 & 13
January 30th, 2011
Then by God the Father’s sovereign choice, made even before the fall of Satan, was then revealed, in that God the Father had Chosen to save to Himself, a chosen people, out of a fallen Creation, to worship and serve forever His only Son. God the Father’s divine plan, was to bring back to himself particular persons, by bringing them back to life by forgiving their sins with the shedding of the Blood of His only Son, and who upon their belief in this atoning death of Christ, they then became the Elect of God, by means of what we call the Doctrines of Grace. God Effectually Called the Elect with Irresistible Grace, who were chosen Unconditionally for a Particular Redemption, thus Limiting the Atonement in that only God’s chosen Elect are able to hear and believe God’s call and therefore they alone receive that Final Perseverance that existed from before the foundations of the Earth were laid, guarantying the Perseverance of the Saints that will last forever.

Unbelief of the Damned
January 23rd, 2011
Join me, Jerry W. Lindsey, for today’s podcast. In this episode, I was compelled to depart from what has become “my usual” podcast, and take on a special topic. At this time, I should be doing a podcast with a study in the book of Zechariah being the main body of today’s lesson. However, I have been having a very bad week, in that I have been overwhelmed with the death of lost souls. Have you ever lost a loved one, who you were fairly certain died lost and went to Hell? In today’s podcast, I discuss this tragedy in detail.

John Chapter 13
January 9th, 2011
Join me, Jerry W. Lindsey, as I continue our study through the Gospel of John. In this episode I take us through Chapter 13. Today’s podcast is packed full with, (yes, you guessed it) more quotes from C H Spurgeon like, “We do not believe that Christ made any effectual atonement for those who are forever damned. We dare not think that the blood of Christ was ever shed with the intention of saving those whom God foreknew never would be saved—and some of whom were even in Hell when Christ, according to some men’s account, died to save them.” And it is with such quotes that we begin to discuss the doctrine of “Limited Atonement” or as I would rather say, “Particular Redemption”. Also, in this episode I have a special treat, in that it contains a clip from John Macarthur himself, answering a question on Predestination from the 2010 Shepherds Conference.

Zechariah Chapter 11
January 2nd, 2011
Join me, Jerry W. Lindsey, as I continue our study through the book of Zechariah. In today’s episode we go through Zachariah Chapter 11. Also, Starting with these words of Charles Spurgeon “I suppose there are some persons whose minds naturally incline towards the doctrine of free will. I can only say that mine inclines as naturally towards the doctrines of Sovereign Grace. Sometimes, when I see some of the worst characters in the street, I feel as if my heart must burst forth in tears of gratitude that God has never let me act as they have done! I have thought if God had left me alone and had not touched me by His Grace what a great sinner I should have been! I should have run to the utmost lengths of sin and dived into the very depths of evil! Nor should I have stopped at any vice or folly, if God had not restrained me. I feel that I should have been a very king of sinners if God had let me alone. I cannot understand the reason why I am saved except upon the ground that God would have it so”, I attempt to finish my talk on the doctrines of “Total Depravity” & “Unconditional Election”.

Zechariah Chapter 10
December 5th, 2010
Join me, Jerry W. Lindsey, as I continue our study through the book of Zechariah. In today’s episode we go through Zachariah Chapter 10. ALSO on today’s podcast, we discuss, “And when you receive the Truth, if God should be pleased to reveal and manifest it to your souls, do not be ashamed to confess it. To confess you were wrong yesterday is only to acknowledge that you are a little wiser today. Instead of being a reflection on yourself, it is an honor to your judgment and shows that you are improving in the knowledge of the Truth. Do not be ashamed to learn and to cast aside your old doctrines and views. But take up that which you may more plainly see to be in the Word of God. And if you do not see it to be here in the Bible—whatever I may say, or whatever authorities I may plead—I beseech you, as you love your souls, reject it” a quote by Charles H Spurgeon. Need I say further?

Also, I give a introduction into the discovery of Doctrines, that have recently changed my entire way of viewing Scripture. John Chapter 10
November 14th, 2010
Join me, Jerry W. Lindsey, as I continue our study through the Gospel of John. In this episode I take us through Chapter 10. This is a very special episode to me, as I have added into the mix, quotes from today’s false teachers and prophets. Unfortunately, many false teachers and prophets use Chapter 10 of the Gospel of John, to teach heretical lies. It was with this thought in mind that I take us through Chapter 10.
